Sample Balance Sheet
Keith Hayes
Chapter Appendix A in Business Journalism, 2014, pp 215-217 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract A balance sheet shows what assets and liabilities a company has and where the money came from to finance them (Chapter 18). It is simply a statement of what a company owns and owes at the point in time the accounts were prepared. It is an evaluation put into black and white of a company’s worth. It lists the net worth of a company—all it owns, known as assets—and everything it owes, called liabilities.
