Abstract:
Abstract This chapter describes the detailed history of the processes of integrating the public safety agencies in the City of Austin and Travis County. By integrating and upgrading the systems, the City of Austin and Travis County are better able to coordinate their activities and protect the public. A combined Communications, Emergency, and Transportation Center was also developed.
