Abstract: Abstract We have seen, in the previous chapter, how simple Scicos models can be constructed and simulated. To be able to construct more complex models, in particular models involving conditional and unconditional subsampling, it is important to understand the formalism on which Scicos is based. This is the subject of this chapter. The information in this chapter is also essential for reading the next chapter, which discusses the construction of new blocks.
