Chapter Chapter 4 in Proactive Intelligence, 2012, pp 35-39 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Before you do your own CI, you have to realize that you are not in the same situation as the CI professional providing information for his or her client. That will change how you have to do your own work. In addition, you, like all of your business associates, are right now wearing a set of intellectual blinders. To deal with these, you must first recognize that you have them. Then you have to take affirmative steps to learn different things and to learn things differently. That is the most effective way to deal with them in an ongoing way.
