Abstract: Abstract In this continuing saga of Newtonian dynamics, we shall first look at various examples of time-dependent forces. The first recipe involves an oscillating Lorentz force exerted on a charged object, the second an illustration of how complicated functions can occur when a simple time-dependence is introduced, the third an illustration of the “route to chaos” when a nonlinear oscillator is driven periodically, and the fourth a Monte Carlo simulation.
