Abstract:
Abstract In his foundational work of noncommuatative differential geometry [3] Alain Connes introduced a notion of cyclic theory for cyclic objects in an abelian category. He also introduced a paring theory between cyclic cohomology and K-theory. It turns out that from its invention noncommutative differential geometry plays a key role in the interactions among analysis, dynamics, topology, and geometry. Calculating cyclic cohomology of appropriate algebras will then be a crucial step in realizing these interactions.
