Abstract: Abstract In this appendix we briefly compare the results in this book with other results, such as wavelets, JPEG, and Iterated Systems, Inc. software. Some of these comparisons appear also in [29]. The results should be taken with a grain, or more aptly a large mountain, of salt for the reasons listed below.
