Abstract: Abstract The analysis of the group theoretic single error correcting and all unidirectional error detecting (SEC-AUED) code is given in this paper. The formula of computing the size of the group theoretic code is presented and the maximal group theoretic codes, for a given weight and for all possible weights, are found. An upper bound on the size of any SEC-AUED code is also developed.
