Abstract: Abstract The present chapter is devoted to the simplest kind of developmental systems: systems the generating word of which has no operating system (i.e. all operations are performed simultaneously and indefinitely) and no feedback (i.e. the first cell has no antecedent). The generating word of such a system has the shape of a binary tree. Examples were the systems DS A , DS B and DS c of Section 1.2.
