Chapter Chapter 6 in Learning Discrete Mathematics with ISETL, 1989, pp 265-317 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter is a potpourri of topics for which sets and tuples are the unifying factors. By this point, students should view sets and tuples as objects to which certain operations can be applied. The chapter helps to strengthen these notions, in addition to introducing them to some important applications.
