Abstract: Abstract The Text of the Angle Trisection by Ahmad ibn Müsä ibn Shäkir (here denoted as B) is taken from the Bodleian Arabic ms. Thurston 3, f. 131v28–132r8. This has already been edited by J.P. Hogendijk (“Trisections of the Angle…,” pp. 433–436), and his suggested emendations have been included here, denoted as B(H). I have also collated a second manuscript of this work (B*), as taken from Bodleian ms. Marsh 720, f. 260v. Although the latter is merely a copy of B, hence of no real textual value, it can sometimes be of use in cases where B is only barely legible. I have set in parallel with the translation of B portions of the treatment of angle-trisection by Pappus in Collection (IV), I, secs. 36–42 (ed. Hultsch, pp. 272–276).
