Abstract:
Abstract In this section, we present a rapid review of certain fundamental results from linear algebra; most of these results will be of paramount importance later on. A good presentation of similar material at a comparable level is given in [Strang]. It should be emphasized that this section is intended mainly as a review, and not as a detailed exposition; at the very least, it should serve to familiarize the reader with certain notational conventions and terminology which we shall be using in the sections which follow.
