Abstract:
Abstract We use the notations of Section 75.1. The basic equations of the general theory of relativity which determine the metric tensors g ij of Einstein’s four-dimensional space-time manifold E 4 are (1) $R^{ij} \, - \,\frac{1}{2}\,g^{ij} R\, = \,kT^{ij} $ with the universal constant (2) $k\, = \,8\pi G/c^4 \, = \,2.07 \cdot \,10^{ - 43} \,N^{ - 1} .$
