Abstract:
Abstract In this chapter we shall show that especially favorable bifurcation relations are present in the case of potential operators. In the proof of the main theorem, we shall essentially make use of Lagrange multipliers and the Ljusternik-Schnirelman theory. We introduced the basic concepts of bifurcation theory in Section 8.1.
