Abstract: Abstract Karl Pearson was Founder of the Biometric School. He made prolific contributions to statistics, eugenics and to the scientific method. Stimulated by the applications of W.F.R. Weldon and F. Galton, he laid the foundations of much of modern mathematical statistics.
