Abstract:
Abstract It is well-known that the single layer surface potential with uniform HÖLDER continuous density is continuously differentiable with respect to each side of the surface and fulfills jump relations for the first order derivatives. In this paper it is shown that the jump relations still hold in the CAUCHY sense if the density is supposed to be only continuous.
