A chapter in Potential Theory, 1988, pp 255-262 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract The results presented in this paper were obtained in the course of an investigation of a simple model problem of the time-dependent Earth s gravity field, but they are equally applicable to other problems governed by thermo-magnetohydro-dynamics and geophysics. The author has studied the problem of the existence, uniqueness and regularity of the solution of the variational problem of the coupled gravity field, velocity field in thermo-Bingham’s fluid (by which the Earth s interior is simulated) and a quasi-stationary magnetic field.
