Abstract: Abstract The advent of the computer as a problem solving tool is one of the major advances of twentieth century society. The introduction of the computer into any organization can speed the record keeping operations of the organization, allow the storage of large amounts of data in one location and automate the manufacturing processes of the organization. While all of these computer induced changes have the ability to increase the productivity and the profitability of the organization, they also create security problems in the organization for which comprehensive protection programs have not yet been fully perfected.
