Abstract:
Abstract The Fifth International Congress of Mathematicians was held in the English university city of Cambridge a few weeks after the sudden and premature death of Henri Poincaré. Even the English skies seemed to mourn the loss of the great mathematician, for it rained almost steadily throughout the Congress.
