Chapter Lecture 2 in An Introduction to Complex Analysis, 2011, pp 6-10 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract In this lecture, we shall first show that complex numbers can be viewed as two-dimensional vectors, which leads to the triangle inequality. Next, we shall express complex numbers in polar form, which helps in reducing the computation in tedious expressions.
