Gender and the Ethics of Tax Evasion: An Empirical Study of 82 Countries
Robert McGee
Chapter Chapter 26 in The Ethics of Tax Evasion, 2012, pp 415-439 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Gender is perhaps the most widely studied demographic variable. It is an interesting variable from the perspectives of economics, law, philosophy, political science, psychology, sociology, anthropology, religion, history, and culture, to name a few. What makes women different from men? How are they different from men? Is female thinking becoming closer to male thinking as women gain equal rights and liberation?
