Abstract: Abstract We ask many questions during our daily activity. When we conduct research we call these daily questions, research questions. Research questions then hypothesize that certain things have occurred or will occur from experimentation. For example, we might ask, Do more men or women frequent the public library? From this question comes a hypothesis: The percentage of women is higher than the percentage of men who frequent the public library. What we need is some way of determining if the percent difference between women and men, or the probability of occurrence, is beyond what would be expected by chance.
