Chapter 8 in Modeling and Simulation: Theory and Practice, 2003, pp 69-87 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Recently, it was found that pattern recognition techniques could be used in the context of model structure identification and hence in the Validation stage of the Simulation process. The area of life-science systems could benefit from this to create mathematical models showing extended application capabilities.
