A chapter in Macroscopic Quantum Coherence and Quantum Computing, 2001, pp 17-24 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Responses of an artificial two-level system in a Cooper-pair box to two sequential gate-voltage pulses have been investigated. We observed interference fringes due to the quantum phase accumulation during the delay time between the two pulses. The observed short decay time suggests that the effect of charge fluctuations on the dephasing is significant.
