Abstract:
Abstract The dephasing rates in two nearby mesoscopic conductors coupled only via the Coulomb interaction are discussed. The necessity of a non-perturbative, electrically selfconsistent treatment is emphasized. Resistances are identified which can serve to characterize the noise power of charge fluctuations.
