Abstract:
Abstract We have considered forming light with a nonclassical state of polarization by nondegenerate second harmonic generation. This occurs due to photon anticorrelation of orthogonal polarization modes of the fundamental radiation. Photon statistics of polarization modes and quadrature component fluctuations are discussed. Calculations are carried out within an accuracy of the terms proportional to the fourth power of the nonlinear coupling coefficient.
