Abstract: Abstract Quadrature squeezed light generation with picosecond optical pulses in a fiber loop mirror whose length is as short as 2 m is analyzed through the computer simulation. When the pulse width is 10 ps, the evolution of the squeezing parameter is almost independent of the second order dispersion β 2 in the region of |β 2|
