Abstract:
Abstract We present an implementation of the OWA operators in FQUERY for Access (Kacprzyk and Zadrozny, 1994a, b; 1995a, b; 1997), an add-on for Microsoft Access supporting fuzzy queries of the type ”find all records such that the values of, e.g. most of the important fields are as specified (possibly fuzzily”. The OWA operators are used as general aggregation operators for fuzzy linguistic quantifier quided aggregation of atomic conditions in the query.
