Abstract:
Abstract I HAVE NEVER PLAYED GOLF and I doubt that I can ever hit that little ball, but this doesn’t keep me from having a theory on how I would play if I ever found myself with a club in my hands. I would give the club a mighty swing. Knowing my background on this sport, you can be quite sure that I would miss on the first whack. This is where my theory comes to the fore! When I take the first swing, my attention will not be on how I am going to hit the ball, but on how I am going to miss it. (I already take it for granted that I shall miss.).
