Chapter 16 in Essentials of Statistics for Scientists and Technologists, 1966, pp 135-150 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract The problems and the data which now follow are drawn from actual practice. In some cases the entire original data are reproduced, but in others the data have been adjusted to give answers in ‘round numbers’ (these make useful examination questions). Certain of the problems illustrate the need for tests and results not given earlier and these are included in this chapter.
