A chapter in International Mathematical Congresses, 1986, pp 12-13 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract The Fourth International Congress of Mathematicians convened in the spring of 1908 in the ancient center of the civilized world. In fact, at times, according to Henri Fehr, Geneva—by this time an inveterate attender of the congresses—it seemed that the attractions of Rome itself diverted the members of the Congress from the presentations being made at the Palazzo Corsini, not so centrally located for sightseeing as it might have been.
