Chapter 4 in Statistical Consulting, 2002, pp 147-193 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract In this chapter our aim is to try to reproduce the entire consultation process for a particular project from initial contact with the client to the final written report and postcompletion followup. The actual consultation took place in a university environment which we refer to as the SCP (see Section 1.4.5). We have modified certain aspects of this project to maintain anonymity of the client, and to keep the length of this presentation within reasonable limits.
