Chapter 5 in Statistical Consulting, 2002, pp 197-202 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The best way to learn about statistical consulting is to do it! There is really no substitute for this and making mistakes is an important part of the process. We have already mentioned several of our mistakes in the previous chapter; don’t worry, there are still plenty left for you to make. This brings us to the case studies. These are intended to provide the reader with the opportunity to gain some experience — at least in terms of learning about the statistical analyses required in different types of consulting problems.
