Abstract: Abstract THIS CHAPTER DRAWS FROM A CACHE OF LONG “LOST” illustrations that were prepared made in 1979 with the assistance of Mark R. Laff. They are published here for the first time, at long last, together with explanations and comments, describe in documented detail the story told in Chapter C12. Some are attractive, and most affect the basic distinction made in Chapter C1 between seeing and discovering.
