Chapter 4 in Creating the Future with All Finance and Financial Conglomerates, 1998, pp 61-80 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract One of the remarkable elements of the trend towards financial conglomerates and all finance is the huge heterogeneity in this development process. It would be a mistake to consider financial conglomerates as a set of homogeneous groups of financial firms with similar characteristics. Some researchers have acknowledged this heterogeneity and have developed a typology of financial conglomerates. In the next paragraph, we will discuss some of the typologies we found in the financial literature.
