Why Are University Startups Not Taking Off?
Manuel Stagars
Chapter Chapter 16 in University Startups and Spin-Offs, 2015, pp 157-164 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract This chapter looks at the gaps that exist in the entrepreneurial ecosystem, which we encountered in part 1 of this book. To overcome those gaps and improve the startup launch pad, both entrepreneurs and universities need to make a concerted effort. Dabbling in entrepreneurship will not work—you either do it or you don’t. Dabbling always results in mediocrity, not only in entrepreneurship, but in everything you do in life.
