Chapter Chapter 5 in Mass Customization, 2015, pp 45-54 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Smartphones and tablets (and anything in between, for example palm tops or the iWatch) have been around for a while now. What is not so common is their use on the factory floor. However, this is emerging, and just recently I saw a demonstration of a warehousing application where smartphones were used to commission goods.
