Abstract: Abstract Despegar ( www.us.despegar.com ) is an online travel booking service founded by Roberto Souviron, Martín Rastellino, Ernesto Cadeiras, Federico Fuchs, Christian Vilate, Alejandro Tamer, and Mariano Fiori. On September 2017, when it started trading on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) at a valuation of more than $2 billion, it was generating gross bookings of more than $3.2 billion annually.
