The Steps for Successful Big Data Projects
Jesse Anderson
Chapter Chapter 11 in Data Teams, 2020, pp 173-186 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Running big data projects is different from running small data programming or analytics projects. Beyond obvious tasks such as choosing datasets and technologies, managers and data teams need to put many subtle building blocks in place. Some of this work may be done before the data team is even hired. The steps for each data project are laid out in this chapter, roughly in the order in which they should occur.
