Defining Agile Hybrids
Shawn Belling
Chapter Chapter 1 in Succeeding with Agile Hybrids, 2020, pp 3-14 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract My experience is that most organizations find themselves somewhere on a continuum between plan-driven (a.k.a. waterfall) project management and agile project management. An organization’s place on the continuum is driven by a variety of factors. Many organizations find themselves using a hybrid approach somewhere on that continuum – one that considers these factors and offers benefits from both waterfall and agile (Figure 1-1).
