Abstract: Abstract In technical organizations, it is common to hold in high regard those who know every nook and cranny of legacy systems, third-party APIs, and the tools you’re using. They can be invaluable as they might short-circuit what would otherwise have been a couple of days of debugging by simply listening for a minute and saying, “I’ve got a hunch it’s related to the caching mechanism in the gizmo system. I’d start with that.”
