Chapter Chapter 11 in Adopting Agile Across Borders, 2021, pp 217-222 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract The population of the United Arab Emirates is overwhelmingly made up of immigrants. Workers come from countries such as Pakistan, India, the Philippines, Korea, Europe, and the United States for jobs in oil, construction, or knowledge work. Managing cross-cultural differences then, would appear to be one of the main challenges for organizations based in the country.
