Chapter Chapter 4 in Developer Relations, 2021, pp 31-37 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Developer Relations is becoming a strategic priority for so many companies due to the recognition of the value Developers can bring to their businesses. However, the total value of the developer-led economy, in terms of the dollars generated by products used, influenced, or purchased by developers, is something the industry hasn’t yet been able to fully quantify, another telltale sign of its relative immaturity. In this chapter, we’ll see how the dollar value of DevRel is starting to be captured by new research, as well as illustrate the supplemental value developers contribute to an organization.
