The Role of Technology
Jerry Schaufeld
Chapter Chapter 10 in Commercializing Growth, 2021, pp 85-91 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Technology is a broad term. It embraces product designs, marketing features, performance/benefit arguments, and certainly brand identity (i.e., Intel Inside). It also impacts the allocation of resources to maintain leadership in each field. Technology has two major areas of impact to the success of a project: the first deals with the actual product or service offerings; and the second deals with the internal workings of the operation. Let us look at both.
