Abstract: Abstract Katherine Neebe is vice president, national engagement and strategy and chief sustainability officer at Duke Energy, and president of the Duke Energy Foundation. Duke Energy is one of the largest energy holding companies in America and provides electricity to 7.8 million customers in six states, serves more than 1.6 million customers with natural gas in five states and through its commercial business owns and operates diverse power generation assets, including a portfolio of renewable energy projects. Katherine leads Duke Energy’s strategy to deliver on the dual goals of meeting customer needs for reliable and affordable energy and achieving the company’s goal of net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.
