Defining Your Marketing Goals

Andrew Schulkind

Chapter Chapter 2 in Marketing for Small B2B Businesses, 2022, pp 13-27 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract Your marketing is unlikely to succeed if you haven’t established the outcomes you’d like to achieve. These will include broad, long-term goals like increasing lead generation by 20% per year and more immediate goals like improving a website landing page to increase conversions. To achieve these and other goals, you’ll need to understand your target audience, their needs and motivations, and how you can present your offerings in the context of the solutions they seek.
