Your Company is the Average of Its Founders
Ivan Voras
Chapter Chapter 7 in The European VC-Funded Startup Guide, 2023, pp 101-112 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract Most of us must balance the desire to work on something cool with the need to pay daily bills. Until we reach financial independence, there will always be compromises. Unfortunately, the startup climate is really harsh with the demands on founders’ time. This chapter talks about the influence founders’ habits have on their company, on managing interpersonal relationships, on company culture and on employee compensation through options and ESOP.
