Chapter 3 in Spectral and Scattering Theory, 1998, pp 33-38 from Springer

Abstract: Abstract We discuss the existence and stability of spherically-symmetric solutions of the Ginzburg—Landau equation in all spatial dimensions. We briefly review known results along these lines for dimension two, and we show that in higher dimensions there is a stable symmetric solution of topological degree ±1.
