Abstract:
Abstract As outlined in Chapter 1 and illustrated in Chapter 2, statistical modelling involves three steps: (i) specifying models; (ii) estimating parameters; (iii) making inferences, that is finding confidence intervals, assessing the goodness of fit of models and testing hypotheses.
