Chapter Chapter 4 in Business Research Projects for Students, 1991, pp 40-61 from Springer
Abstract:
Abstract While you attend your taught courses before starting your project, you are likely to hear people talking about the standards which are applied. Your lecturers might be heard talking about ‘good projects they have known’, and you might come across the students who have completed their projects exchanging gossip and war stories about individuals who did particularly well, or spectacularly badly, when their work was assessed. You’ll hear talk from both parties of ‘contributions to knowledge’, and you’ll find yourself wondering just what standard will be required of you.
